Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne. That was an emotional roller-coaster. Don't recommend it for children, teens, the faint of heart, those around other people, hyper-analysts, people who glaze over details or people who aren't sure how to feel about an ending.

Well, started watching Trigun after seeing the opening of it on a youtube video and thinking "Damn, that looks cool. I gotta watch this."
Not disappointed since, no wonder Petie has Vash as his avatar. Damn near all my favourite tropes are in this and has a lot of comedic moments so I love it. Additionally, started to watch Space Dandy as well. I know I'm late to the party on this one, but it's really damn good. Started reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as well.

I still think the Trigun anime was kinda meh. It started off strong but it fell apart about halfway through. As always, manga is better.

I still really like the original FMA anime.

I have the same feelings about that as I have with Trigun. Brotherhood, I think, was way better.

I'm still having trouble with getting involved in Brotherhood. It's moving at manga pace so there's certainly no wasted time. But I'm not sure if its the super-fast pacing that makes it feel like everything is just rushed or the fact that since I've seen the original FMA anime that I already know what's going to happen and so it doesn't have the same gut-wrenching feel to it.
I don't know, yet.

Samurai, I don't know how far you have gotten in FMAB, but the first 10-14 episodes of FMAB are basically the same as in FMA. After those episodes it branches away from FMA and follows the manga very closely. If you're worried about it being the same as FMA it surely is not and I think you'll be pleased with how different it really is.
As for my opinion on them. I think they are equally great series and I would recommend that anyone interested in watching one series should watch the other as well, because they are two very different but equally fantastic anime.

I just finished watching the first 8 episodes of One Punch Man and it's fantastic. I had gone into it thinking it was going to be somewhat mediocre or just pure silliness, but I was pleasantly surprised by the art and the fight scenes and I also got a lot of good laughs out if it as well. Also whenever the music starts up it gets me so hyped up. I can't wait for more.
If you were on the fence about watching it I would highly recommend it. I watched it through Daisuki which you can watch in HD if you sign up which is free. I can't say much for the other anime on there, because they just don't interest me, but if you want to watch One Punch Man in HD it's great.

I don't know why it took me this long to watch Space Dandy, I would've obviously liked it back in 2014, I don't know why I just didn't watch it. It's wayyyyyyy too good. Hits all the points I want in an anime perfectly.
Currently on Episode 10 of Trigun.

Three episodes of Assassination Classroom, still not sure what to think of it.

I can't even remotely agree with this because it was basically just the manga down to the word, and since I had already read the manga, I saw no point to brotherhood. For me too, the manga wasn't as good as the original FMA anime because it got so into this odd fantasy element with Greed switching bodies and Ed being inside the endless tunnel that it gluttony's stomach to the different forms some of the humonculi take. Then, how does it all end, Disney style. As if breaking the biggest taboo in the world doesn't matter. Hell, everyone's lives start improving because of Ed's selfish choice and convincing Al to go along with it. The ending for the original anime showed that are consequences for your actions, which is a theme of FMA itself, until the end of it. I am not a fan of that at all.

Isn't that the point of an anime? Being an adaptation of the manga? Isn't that what Dragon Ball and Bleach is? The "problem" (which is only a problem if you really like the source material) with the original FMA is that it out ran the manga and had to make up a new story, which is where all the weird stuff comes from. I really don't care for either shows, even though I do think they are both good. It could be Clannad, the boring anime that fell short in advertising the game (which I hear is also boring but I can't verify).

To each their own. Its media and is meant to be determined by the viewer.
