Hmmm, so many good choices. But I'd go with Final Fantasy XII-2. You don't even have to go past the main menu to hear an amazing song.

I often find myself listening to the main menu music without pressing START. It's just that damn good.
Combined with other incredible songs such as Yeul/Noel/Serahs themes. Caius end theme. The hilarious yet heavy-metal 'rockin' awesome song that is Crazy Chocobo. The music is that good you fortunate yanks get a 4 disc soundtrack while us Eurodouches only get 1 CD with 10 songs on it >: (
It's Final Fantasy, so whether you like the game(s) or not, it's hard to deny the soundtracks are incredible and beautiful.

But the Chocobotheme is good. I never really had to grind it out. I guess I was fortunate enough it came naturally to me whilst playing.
I never got the Gilgamesh DLC but I have heard that theme. It's OK. Starts off well but not really into the rest of it.
Good choices too. I can't really think of any songs instantly that I didn't like from XIII-2

All the themes are excellent in their own way. Maybe in the Steppes when you turn it to cloudy to fight all the C'ieth, but that theme was also in XIII just like the Sunleth Waterscape was so that is why I did not include it nor will I mention the cloudy music theme in XIII-2.

Honestly, Dragons dogma had a great sound track. Just for some odd reason they had the weird, but cool in my opinion, rock like song on the main menu ... ye I didn't understand that either. The rest was awesome though :P

Mine was definitely "Hell Yeah!" by Arkedo Studios (published by Sega). Most diverse and creative soundtrack since Skullmonkeys and Bully imo, and a few stand-out pieces outweighed any I didn't like by leaps and bounds.

One of my favorite games last year, and Arkedo studio dissolved a month or so ago, which gave me a sad.
...honorable mentions are Sound Shapes and Retro City Rampage.
For a bad game, it has a really good soundtrack.
