I personally can't stand Kanye West and the idea of playing a game as the woman who raised him to be the vapid, narcissistic asshat that he is, on her way to the gates of heaven after dying from complications during a session of plastic surgery seems like the last thing on my 'gotta play this' list.
He describes the gameplay, basically, as guiding his mother from the initial gate of heaven to the highest gate of heaven by 'holding her to the light'.
This sounds like mobile game that you play for about four and a half minutes then delete and never admit to anyone that you played.
Like download it, get stuck listening to an unskippable Kanye song on a poorly contrived opening cutscene, then hold your phone's camera toward the ceiling lamp or, god forbid you actually leave the basement (where I assume rabid Kanye fans who are legitimately excited about a Kanye West game live in) point it toward the sun...until Ms. West makes it to God's side.
Oh and by the sounds of it, all of the dialogue is going to be between Kanye's dead mother and his infant daughter, North.
I don't think I have ever been less excited about a video game in my life. I'd probably rather play an RPG based on Passion of the Christ where you play as Mark, one of the apostles. I'd probably rather play a PotC RPG where you play as one of the members of the crowd during Jesus' sentencing and the entire game is just you throwing veggies at him while yelling anti-Semitic comments. I'll bet I could get Mel Gibson to produce that game; AAA quality.
