I was checking out the user cp and thought about updating/tweaking some info. I noticed that my default user title is "Living Legend"; that's kinda cool but I'll stick with "Old Soul". I was also going to change my sex, but then realized that I have four choices; kudos to whoever set it up without letting us type something in.

That reminded me to check and I see that SERIOUSLY see has gender set to "Female". SERIOUSLY, Cuccos, and I are the prettiest girls on the forum ;p

^_^ OK, so I used that 25% off code that Head 'N Home sent out. They say to allow up to 3 weeks to ship out because these hats are handmade, but they must have had a few of this one ready to go since it's October, and so it's already on its way to me! It's an amazing bat hat that is just so me and I cannot wait to receive it!

I am trying to cool it with spending still, but I have NEVER received a coupon from them before, and these hats are not cheap, so I had to.

Why is Nintendo torturing me?

So I was playing more Flash Mahjong to pass the time and the hands the AI can get are ridiculous. I played into the person opposite me twice mostly due to my hand containing no safe times, but in the final round I tried my best to make a hand to get a direct hit on him.

Then this happened.



Now, if you don't know what that is. Let me get Prime Minister of Japan, Koizumi to help you.





13 Orphans is basically a wait on any of those 13 tiles to be discarded and you win. The hand is fucking difficult to get because it's a 1 in 1000 chance of getting it even if you drew 9 out of the 13 tiles you need right off the bat.

So not only was the guy in the lead, but then he wins 32,000 MORE POINTS off the guy to my right and basically ends the game in the 70,000's. Hell, I played his winning tile and he didn't even ron of me, HE WAITED FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT.

I mean I know these guys are AI's and all but damn.

If you ever have spare time I'd suggest playing the flash game, and watching the anime "Akagi". Akagi was a big influecence, and upon watching it again I'm understand it a lot more, and finding new ways to play (such as opening your hand during a richii to attempt a Tsumo, or when the odds are unlikely that someone would play into your hand)

Flash game is great for learning things like what Pon, Chi and Kan do, and learning hands.

Right now I have to learn the hands, and the wind position that I am.
