The American manual for the Gameboy Advance and N-Gage versions of Rayman 3 incorrectly refers to Jano, the guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams from Rayman 2 as a pirate. This should have said Razorbeard as the pirate enemy.

This error is not included in the European manual. As is on Nintendo UK's website for GBA manuals.

This might not have been a simple oversight as Rayman 3 for the GBA and N-Gage hardly involve the Hoodlum enemies as the main antagonists. Despite being based on the consoles/PC release. Instead similar to Rayman 2, the robotic pirates are once again the main adversaries along with their leader Razorbeard.
It can also be said that the game began as a 2D platforming version of Rayman 2, but might have been changed to coincide with the original release of Hoodlum Havoc for the Playstation 2, GameCube, Xbox and PC. The game reuses characters, music as well as some level from Rayman 2 to add to this idea.
For those unaware, the characters Jano and Razorbeard from Rayman 2 are two seperate characters.
Jano from Rayman 2
& Razorbeard, also from Rayman 2
