Well I decided I would play the original Metal Gear Solid today for the first time, and I'm already what seems like half way through the game. This game will either be finished by tomorrow considering I've only played it for about 3 hours, or I'm seriously under estimating how long this game is.

You're probably right about being almost done, the second disc is really short in terms of gameplay.

Went to pre order Injustice Gods Among Us. I tried the demo and really enjoyed it. I was going to pre order at Wal Mart just because they gave MK vs DC Universe for free but I got it at Gamestop cause they were giving out the red son costumes and Batman Arkham City costumes.

Well, you're still near the begining. You have a lot of game to play, thought it can be passed in 4 days or so.

There's a gaming convention that's going to take place in May close to where I am, and I thought "I've never been to one; could be cool."

$495 !? Is that a normal convention price ?

Even the $150 student price seems very steep - all I want to do is walk around and have a look at what's going on :(

Come to SGC this year. It's $50 on site but less if you pre-order the ticket. That ticket counts for all three days.
