Bosses shouldn't have instant death spells.

Especially when they have a bajillion HP and take like half an hour to get to the point that they'll use them.

Yeah, I'm talking to you, Shin Megami Tensei series. >p

Your avatar makes this very ironic.

And considering how most of the Ace Attorney games are text based it doesn't even matter if you can import it as it's still practically unplayable to all non-Japanese gamers.

OK. I read on the site that there was a canceled Mega Man X game. It did not look cool to be. I have seen a video of the game and I have to say that I am now even more mad at Capcom. Why does Capcom hate us?

I shall now now stop talking about my hate of capcom here. until they give me a new reason to bring it up

Honestly, I could bet my soul for the fact that even if that game had been released people would have cried about how it's "not Megaman anymore" and how Capcom "ruined the series".

"Ughhh look at Capcom catering to these new school fags. Just like RE6 with explosions and DmC being "edgey". Capcom just ruined another series".

There you go.

You know that's what I was thinking at first. "Yea I'm glad it was cansiled. It would have been just another Bomerman Act Zero." But now that I look at it, I relly want this game. It's like Yuri said, "The game looks and feels like a Metriod Game. It's diffrent and that's not always bad."

I think this is a major case of "I can't have it, hence I want it" for all MM fans. I could guarantee that if it had been created the majority of the fans would've hated it anyway, no matter how good or innovative it had been. I remember when people were all "Megaman Universe? That game is gonna be so stupid, I'd rather have Megaman dead than get this stupid game" and when it was cancelled people were all like "What? You cancelled it? Fuck you Capcom! Why do you hate us and won't release even this game?"

I'm not the biggest mega man fan in the world (I really only own the two collection games, a few battle net work games, and ZX, and only heard of him later in life) so I really don't care that much about him. It's more of a matter of fact. How would you like it if Mario was have game canceled left and right and they started putting a fat guy that only looks like Mario in super smash bros.? People would be insulted. Right now all Capcom cares about is money and Street Fighter. How about we cancel the next 5 Street Fighter games and than release a Dan Hebiki (have no idea how to spell his name) game instead of the Ken or Ryu one they promised us. When you get down to it, Yea some people are bipolar about these things, but why do we put up with the jokes about mega man? At lest Sonic team is trying to do better with the ideas "fans" give them.

How would I feel if a Mario game got cancelled? Indifferent, I don't play Nintendo titles. If they replaced him with some fat dude on SMB? Like the guy from the movie? Hell yes, I'm in! Honestly, I wasn't even insulted about the box art Megaman in SFxT, I found it hilarious, some people need to learn to take a joke, it wasn't even a MM game to begin with. Right now all developers care about money and their biggest selling franchises, that's how business works. I'm a fan of SF and I wouldn't mind if they cancelled titles but a game with Dan Hibiki as the lead? I'd be shitting my pants, he's my favorite character :D There has been a SF game without Ken and Ruy before and it did really well, fighters don't really have a consistent lead. In any case, my point is that if it's not a 2D 8-to-16-bit MM platformer game, the fans will cry out. People can't handle change.

I for one thought Mega Man Universe and Mega Man Online looked awesome. I'm definitely upset that they were cancelled, but when I first heard of them I was pretty excited. Well... Online took me a little while to warm up to, but I eventually got excited about it. And then pretty much the next day it was cancelled. Isn't that just my luck.

But then, I guess I'm just a sucker for the blue bomber. I'll buy anything with the Mega Man name on it.

...Except Starforce, but that's really just because I'm bitter that they killed off Battle Network for that.

Box Art Megaman was supposed to be a joke anyway. It was even approved by Inafune himself. It was just bad timing that Capcom showed him off after suddenly canning two Megaman games, giving the impression that Capcom could care less. (Still hurts that they didn't bring Ace Attorney Investigations 2 over here... jerks...)

As for my horrible gaming experiences, as much as I love TF2, there have been some terrible players when it comes to the new Mann Vs Machine mode. Usually when you get a bad player, you can muddle on through since there are 10 or 11 competent people... but in MvM, you can only get up to six players, so all members of the team have to learn to work together and play with their respective classes well! But noooo, they just continue to play terribly by doing things like...
  • ...allowing two Scouts, Medics, Snipers, or Spies on the team. Our attack power greatly decreases as a result since Scouts are fragile, Medics have to focus on healing more than attacking, Snipers can only attack one enemy at a time until they get "Explosive Headshot", and Spies have to take their time to sap and stab. One of them is fine, two is too much. But they never change class even when you tell them to. Ever.
  • ...not picking up the money. It's fine when Scouts miss one or two pieces of cash, but not a whole buttload of it that's waiting in an empty filed to be picked up! You're the fastest class, money gravitates toward you... please pick it up!
  • ...going idle without a word. This irritates me the most of all... again, when you have a big team of people, one idle guy wouldn't affect it that much. But a team of six? It greatly turns the tide for the robots. You wait patiently, you tell them to get back already, but no, he just stands there like the Engineer erected a statue of a moron.
  • ...placing your buildings in the back as Engineer. Without sentry support or the time-saving teleporters, we slow down significantly and the bomb carrier grows stronger. I know the Engineer wants to protect the hole at all costs, but it won't matter when the robots arrive at full health.
It's getting rarer to find a team that manages to pull through in MvM. I've recently resorted to servers with 10 slots to accommodate for this issue... it can get laggier, but it is a lot more satisfying when we beat that last wave and not when I ragequit after failing five times in a row.
