Well after a long time of playing games, Smash Bros for Wii U made my hands hurt a lot after playing it for such a long time. I already like the Wii U version 10x better than the 3DS.

I'm going to get the Wii U version after the price goes down. I'm in no rush to get it.

Guys, I think I've figured out how Robin works. Chrom is on standby with the convoy, and Kellam is there to deliver them to him because he's the only one in the army that can run around without anyone seeing him. That's how Robin carries more than he can in Awakening and "regenerates" his items.

Eh. I'm gonna be honest. I don't like it. I call it Brawl.5. It's just not that good of a game. I love Little Mac though. Just got his Foxtrotting tech down. Went to a tournament over the weekend. Stayed over night at my local arcade with a couple of other guys till 4am practicing.
Got bopped and sent to losers, then fought(won) out of losers into my next match where I lost. I played Little Mac though rather than my Ike and Link mains but I got to meet more of the UK community. Lot's of NNIDs so I can practice. Good fun, shame the game is severely lacking

*Even though I love Melee, dislike Brawl and still actively play and enjoy Project M (3.5). I'm not holding Sm4sh to those games standards. I'm looking at what the game brings in case I get the "Melee lover douche" response. I didn't buy the 3DS version because the demo was enough to put me off it.

Alright, I can respect that.

Personally, this is actually the first Smash I've owned. My friends were always the ones with Wiis and Gamecubes. I was the guy with ps1,ps2,xbox 360 etc.

I feel far diifferently, it's my favorite Smash so far. I love all of the new modes and the changes to the old modes, every character is fun to play with, the online has actually been far better than I expected. I love every  single little detail about this game.

I would like to say that (from someone who has yet to play the game) I would hate the game if it played too much like Melee. I like Brawl way more than I like Melee. I went back to Melee resontly and all I could do was see what Brawl did better. I spent most of my time playing Adventure, Classic, and a few effents modes and even that was boring after a time. I'll give it a few things. No tripping, a better way of unlocking everyone, and a better All-Star mode make it worth playing (too bad All-star mode is locked until you unlock everyone, which takes days to do).

Indeed. For a free online service it's actually (competitively(almost)) accurate. You can feel the few frames of delay and oddly whiffing moves but it's generally not something that bothers me too much.

See for me, I play fighting games a lot. So when I see a game like SF4. I take the game as is. I then see the update a year later; SSFIV, and then learn that game with it's new tweaks. What I find disappointing about Sm4sh is that it's been 6 years and all we have are the same Brawl models just in HD. We have the same Final Smashes, the same character roster, same reused stages and overall is a poor-mans competitive Brawl. It took 6 years to make a very small amount of changes with new characters and UI whereas other games did it in a few months.
I know there are a few things to factor in such as the console it's on, the development time but I was expecting this game to be a big departure from Brawl. But it really is just Brawl in HD with new characters. The UI is superficial.

In terms of mechanics, no wave dashing is a problem and vectoring/alternate DI is just meh. It's unnecessary.

I am trying to look at this game on it's own merits but when you play a version of Brawl like Project M 3.5 you really do realise who good the game can be. Playing Ike in Brawl was fun, but Project M really made Ike even more fun to play. Faster A combo. Up-B had a fair nerf where he could be hit out of Up-B (OOOHLAAAAAH Move). But playing Sm4sh I can throw that out and not care about damage.

As I said I before I'm looking at the game different to others those. To a point where 26 frames of landing lag can (for me) make or break a character(see Captain Falcon).

I love Little Mac though. He makes this game worth playing.

*If you enjoy the game, that's perfectly fine. This is just my opinion on it. I'm giving it a chance too. Going to tournaments, playing with a GC controller, have Amiibos for it and now uploading playing it though. Am trying to be fair to it.

I love Melee etc. but... There is no online. And nobody around me plays it. So I play Smash 4 a lot because I can play with friends because of the online. It's the same with Project M...

Melee Online please.

We should play sometimes Bumble! We had a few games of SF4 a while ago when I was still playing (on ranked) ! Don't know if you are aware/remember it was me!
