Edit: Also in America New Luigi U will be $19.99 as DLC or $29.99 as a stand alone game. Nabbit is the character replacing Mario. He can't power up with items but he passes through enemies, Making him the ultimate newb character.
What a huge rip-off. I'm only buying the retail version because I know it's going to worth a shit ton in the future still sealed. Seriously, Nintendo need to lower the DLC to around £5/$5 at most!
Not at all, This deal was great. I was worried it would be 49.99 and was hoping for 29.99. Very excited to see 19.99. This isn't just your average DLC pack like the 9.99 it costs for KREIG in borderlands or the $14.99 it costs for four maps in CoD. This is literally the same size as the original game. (Hence the stand alone version) Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare wasn't even the same length and didn't it sell stand alone for like 40? Nintendo are saints with DLC, you shouldn't be so quick to attack them like that. The few new mario level packs for NSMB2 was like what 2 dollars? where as any PS360 game would charge lke a of 10-15 for that. Oh and there retro map pack was FREE.
Nintendo are saints? This is a generic meh-at-best dlc character. Metal Gear Rising recently had 2 DLCs which let you play as Sam and Blade-wolf for $7 each. Nintendo are charging you $20 to play as Luigi on the same stages. The Kreig DLC is only $10. So why is Nintendo charging $20 to use a DLC character when other games don't. This is blatant obvious BS by Nintendo. The same company who charge £40 for download titles on the e-store or £50 for WiiU download titles. Small app games like Angry Birds/Balance/Nightsky are around £8 each.
I don't get how other game deveopers can charge less money to use new characters yet Nintendo charge $20 and be called saints? Nintendo have always been terrible with pricing. All you gain from this add-on is 2 characters and a few new stages. Compared to Red Dead which is an entirely new campaign/expansion.
