Unlike them, they don't do it an a daily basis.
Now i'll shall list the companies to the game crossover should be. excluding minor appearance
Nintendo:
SNK :
Konami:
Not familiar with Nippon Ichi work so i can't say much about it.
Now lets look at Capcom:
Oh yeah, forgot Namco from my original post.
Anyway, SNK is also known for crossovering its own franchises like Metal Slug, King of Fighters, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury and a crossover of them all, NeoGeo Battle Coliseum.
As for NIS, they do the same thing with crossovering their own franchises, in addition to games like Cross Edge and Trinity Universe.
Capcom's Versus series is also known as, well, a series so they are kinda expected to push out a new one of those every once in a while. If you count Smash Bros. as one, then same should apply to all Capcom games with the word "Versus" in the title.
Furthermore, Namco x Capcom, Cross Edge, Megaman x Street Fighter and all SNK vs. games were not made by Capcom. Those games just incorporated their characters.
