Watched the first three episodes of the new Danganronpa, which was adapted from a video game.
So the plot is pretty dumb and the bear is rather an annoying character. The main character also has nothing special going for him as he's rather generic and boring. Similar to the complains given to the Persona 4 anime, it's pretty obvious that this was an anime adaptation of a video game.
That being said, the first three episodes were really entertaining and thrilling, being much better than what I initially expected. The best part of the show has to be the trial that appeared over the murder, which is why I can now see why this series is often compared to the likes of Phoenix Wright. The show has also managed to know when to be goofy without completely killing the tension of the situation, which I applaud it for.
Oh, and I'm pretty happy that I was able to call who would die first and who the killer would be! Granted, it was for completely shallow reasons.
