Freema Agyeman had another role in the show before she was Martha Jones. She first played Adeola Oshodi in the episode "Army of Ghosts".

And she wasn't the first either.
This is Commander Maxil.

This is the 6th Doctor.


Colin Baker played Commander Maxil in the series "Arc of Infinity" where he shot and nearly killed the 5th doctor. A year later, the 5th regenerated into the 6th, and it was the man that had tried to kill him that appeared, the one and only Colin Baker.
