Anyway. I might as well say this about the OPness of the megas.
When we are all talking about the state of the game most of us are referring to Smogon rules. the official rules that Game Freak cater for are VGC double battles which are a completely different metagame to singles.
Blaziken is nowhere near OP in doubles because in singles it can use Hi-Jump Kick to absolutely destroy things while in doubles because pretty much every pokemon uses protect you have to resort to the far weaker Sky Uppercut as your fighting STAB. Also, Blaziken doesn't use spread moves, which means nothing in singles but in doubles that's a really bad thing and leaves it open for the other pokemon to attack it.
Also they Mega Stone is the only item each of them can hold. No Choice sets, No Life Orb, No Leftovers, No Type Resistance lure berries no nothing. That's a pretty big bummer and leaves me wondering if Megacario can actually keep up with it's normal form (If Megaccario reduces the attack stat then it'll be instantly bottom of the barrel crap.)
This should be stable in a doubles metagame. The singles metagame is unofficial and the Pokémon community has trusted Smogon to keep it stable (Even if they are failing at it by being massive pussies at the moment, but that's a whole other story.)
I posted this on another forum but I though I might as well put it here.
