I'm not so sure if there will be a power struggle between Rick and Abraham. I used wiki to compare the show to the comic. In the comic, they become somewhat reliant of one another. Of course, Carol also committed suicide a long time ago after Sophie turned, Daryl Dixon and Merle Dixon aren't even in the comic, Rick's wife gave birth to Judith and lived, then was shot in the back when the governor's army invaded, causing her to fall on and crush Judith. The comic is a lot darker. Oh, and after Rick killed Shane, they buried him, THEN Rick finds out that they are all infected, so he goes and did Shane up just to shoot him again. Also, the Governor cut off Rick's right hand. There is a lot more.
