Everything was covered in 6+ inches of ice. Just due to the weight of it, you could stand on it without even leaving a foot print. Hundreds of trees and power lines were downed. It took 2 weeks for them to get the electric turned back at my house, which was pretty good compared to a lot of others. I knew some at school that were without any power for 6 weeks just due to how extensive the damage everywhere was. Only official state of emergency I've ever lived through. School was out for a week only, btw. If the school had power still. One major state route that connected my part of Ohio to Kentucky was closed for over 2 months because they had to re-build half the road.(03-04-2014, 01:19 PM)Mass Distraction Wrote:(03-04-2014, 09:49 AM)Beware of Cuccos Wrote: GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, TEXAS. The ice? You should see all the snow we have here. It's a real pleasure to drive a car in these conditions.
I couldn't imagine. There's literally ice falling from the sky here (not snow or hail). It's extremely rare around these parts.
It's raining ice. That's what's happening.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
