Ah, so there IS something to prove we are not clones!
Haha, apparently. I tried watching it, really. After the first episode I was like "Meh. I can kinda see the fandom I guess. Then I watched the second one and was like "Well they solved the problem quickly." Then I watched the third and was like "Okay, had enough." Not getting it, man.
It's not the liking the show part that gets me. I liked Dexter's Lab and Power Puff Girls as a kid. Similar humor by the same dude. What gets me is this, raw, relentless fandom. It's not "Yeah, the show is okay. I watch it if it's on." for bronies. It's "I love this show a ton. So much, in fact, that I have MLP collectibles all over my room. I have a ponysona, this is the drawing of me as a pony. I'm really excited for this week's episode. So good."
And I'm like "wat.jpg."
It's kind of in the middle for me. I mean, I don't go hogging all manner of pony paraphernalia (apart from the delicious, delicious comics) or have a ponysona (I still can't believe that's a thing) but I am excited when a new episode comes out. I'm like this with other shows I watch too so it's really nothing new for me.
