I will be completely honest about My little pony friendship is magic. I for one love it only for the following reasons. A well developed show where it takes something that was once known by the public as 'too sweet for anyone' and reworks it while at the same time making it appealing for both kids and adults to watch. Great music. I hope that they release a soundtrack with the scores for the show. I know that they released a soundtrack with some of the songs from the first and second season last year.
And(most importantly when it comes to developing any tv show if you want it to be good) great characters and its well animated. Each episode focuses on a different character where a lesson can be learned. And the best part? Its not forced. Its well balanced and its sending the message across the bridge. Even the animation is great coming from Flash(yes, if you can put time and effort into things with flash you can do some pretty amazing things with it like this show here). There are a ton of talented artists who work on the show. If you look at the credits on the production of the show, some of the people who work on Friendship is Magic also worked on Ed Edd n Eddy.
My only gripe with the show is that the fans(some of them) go way to far with liking the show. Heck. They even entered the 'coo-coo' territory in the same way fan communities of Sonic the hedgehog and Final Fantasy are insane. I'm not like that. I'm not one of those people who collects the toys of the show, I just watch the show. As much as I'd like to own a few of the pony toys as collectibles, I m not going to go through hell just to own one. Also. There are a few people who have complained that it was only created just to sell the toys. Let me just point this out. Batman used to suck, it was just campy. Fast-forward, with the help of Frank Miller and Bruce Timm. Batman would later be known for as the dark knight we all know today as. Instead of the campy corny image he was in the days of Adam West. So remakes for shows can be good if they are in the right hands.
I'm still waiting for a PROPER animated film of Friendship is Magic. Not any of the Equestria girls stuff.
