I just mentioned it like last page! No one noticed or no one cared. We shall just have to deal with it.
I know but no one responded and the subject changed and I'm like "Nooooo."
Dude. Those deaths.
I KNOW!
[spoiler]
I am angry with Jojen's death. All the other ones I'm fine with as they helped with the story. I heard some people say that Jojen had to die to give Bran's journey to the Three-Eyed Crow/Raven consequences but you can have that without anyone dying!
Have him injured, lose an eye or something. Look at Jaime, his return to Kings Landing and his family had enormous consequences but he didn't die.
So stupid. But I saw a thing on GRRM's LiveJournal that said Happy Father's Day and I remembered what was left of the book and it clicked; "OH MY GOD THIS IS WHERE TYWIN DIES!!!!"
And sure enough when it got to the last chunk of the show, BOOM! crossbow for the win!.
As to the Hound's "death" I don't think he is really dead. Left for dead sure like in the book but there is still the possibility of him not being truely killed. In a show that can have men come back to life by praying to a fire god or dying beyond the Wall it isn't beyond the scope of possibility of him not being dead.
My rule of thumb is like most of the internet, is that if they don't die on screen or there isn't a corpse to prove it, then they aren't dead yet. Proof of life or death is needed before you can say so. A person can say they saw their corpse off screen but so do people who say they saw Big Foot or a UFO. Unless you have absolute proof of this, not dead.
