You can admit to whatever you like, and discuss your views. But linking to warez, and giving people instructions on how to perform illegal acts *publicly* isn't acceptable.

I saw some guy get a rather lengthy ban on another forum because he posted a screenshot of a website or whatever and coincidentally in the shot was a utorrent popup saying that his Beatles discography download was complete... didn't want anything like that happening to me.

We tend to use that as a last resort before disabling it completely if it gets too out of hand. As you saw earlier tonight though, we don't generally let baseless down-votes go unchecked.
