General Anime/Manga/Otaku Thread

Got bored, so I decided to read some Pokemon Manga yesterday. Gotta say, its pretty dark and is actually rather violent for Pokemon Standards.

Yep, I was pretty shocked to see them say Shit and Bastard in the manga. Hell, halfway through [spoiler]Red cuts an Arbok in half and it rejoins again[/spoiler]


I only read up to the beginning of the Gold/Silver arc, since it was a bit boring there. I still found it pretty funny how [spoiler]Yellow cried when her Pokemon evolved since she didn't know they could do that. We also share the same birthday. March 3rd.[/spoiler]


It's pretty stupid though, since it doesn't really follow the games, near the second gym [spoiler]Red lost his Pigeotto because it left it's Pokéball since it found battling boring or something and left a note saying it left[/spoiler]


Although, it's alright apart from that. I actually had the first few chapters about 10 years ago, I found it in a charity shop for £1, no idea where it is now.

I should go back and read it now that I think about it, I didn't get that far.

I lost my books too. but luckily for me, I had gotten them saved on my computer so I can go back and read them if I wanted to. Also, that ending of the first book... Ugh.
