Although once I get to the point I stopped watching the show when it was on Toonami/Adult Swim/Cartoon Network I will have to start paying more attention to the descriptions on Hulu so I will know if I'm wasting my time or not.
Did that with Naruto and their filler episodes. Just let them keep piling up and skipping them because I felt it was unnecessary to watch them, even fillers that are pure back story on characters. I found some of them irrelevant because I already know enough about some characters without really needing their history.
I tried watching both Inuyasha and Naruto resently, but Inuyasha got way to boring way to fast, and when I got later in the series, I could not stand half the cast. As for Naruto, it's the first time I HAD to go with sub due to Naruto's voice and Naruto's voice alone.
Naruto and Bleach are the only animes that I did not mind the filler arcs. To me, they added a little bit to the series (though Bleach knew when they were getting stale).
Believe it.
Naruto was pretty bad when it came to filler too if I remember correctly. Its kind of funny because whenever there was a filler episode, DeviantArt got a lot happier.
