Risk of Rain might be something you'd like, although it's kind of like a website flash game. You should look it up.
It's basically a 2D side scrolling shooting survival game where you have to find a teleporter on a planet and survive while it boots up so you can escape and kill everything that gets in your way.
Pretty fun, since I've got a few hours playing through single player.
