The PlayStation was the first console I've ever owned – I got it back in '99 as a birthday gift. It had a modchip soldered into its circuit board, so it was able to run burned discs. I recall having well over 250 games for it. From movie-based games, to first instalments, to triple A titles – you name it. The PlayStation's induction truly marked a pivotal point in video game history; shifting focus from cartridge to CD format, as well as from 2D to 3D gameplay. I lost the console a long time ago, but I have vowed to try to find a legitimate copy of every game I've ever owned for it, so I can relive those gaming experiences I once had as a child.
