Good thing I watched it for free.
I'm in the same boat on this one, and I usually like the Franco-Rogen comedy empire, but this one was just, wow. The only reason to watch it is the first 10 minutes for a few good jokes, mainly due simply to their chemistry, and that one spoilerific scene everyone's already seen on the internet. The timing was off, the script was atrocious, and one scene in particular was fucking gruesome, but it wasn't shot in a way that was comedic or enjoyable or, fucking anything. It was the weirdest, most out of place thing I've witness in a movie, maybe ever? Here's some spoiler talk if you're craving it.
A poisoned guy starts sweating and vomiting in a really disgusting way, but it wasn't shot for shock value or anything, then in his panic he shoots his friend in the head and the guys brain matter explodes everywhere. Normally I'd chock this up to just panicy infintile "XDXD THAT'S SO DISGUSTING LOL!" humor that just doesn't apply to me, but the way they shot it, I can't even see that happening. It felt like it was straight out of Breaking Bad in a bad way (pun not intended). I can't really describe it accurately, if nothing else watch it for that weird ass scene.
All in all, extremely over hyped and high on its own concept. Like Braid :D
