This thing has been bothering me for the past few years now(even BEFORE I got slugged in the nose by that idiotic woman at gamestop). We have film ratings. And those ratings apply to the video games as well(from E10 for kids to M for adults). If parents are smart enough to not take their kids to an R rated movie, why the hell aren't they doing this with video games? They should be aware that if a video game is M rated, they shouldn't buy it for their kid. He/she isn't old enough to play it, and the last thing the parent needs is their kid having a bad influence on his/her life because of the video game. We are living in a world where not every parent is a genius, those are becoming rare, idiotic parents are running amuck in this country. If some dumb mother gets arrested for having their kid play Doom 3 or any other M rated video game. Its their damn fault for not looking into it like a proper parent and keep those things away from their kid until they are at the age where they can play it.
