Ah well. I'll share the thing I found just for kicks, then. I thought it was pretty funny.
The laserdisc emulator called "Daphne" got its name from the well known laserdisc and arcade game Dragon's Lair, where the player's objective is to find and resque Princess Daphne. This can be seen referenced all over the site. Furthermore, the creator of the emulator calls it the First Ever Multiple Arcade Laserdisc Emulator, or FEMALE for short, further adding to the reference.
