Damn, no more ghost mode for me.
But honestly, Paid Mods are an inevitability, and rightfully so. Of course I'm not talking about paying $.49 for a sword or buggy armor or any of that shit they so horribly implemented with the launch of this fusterclucking idea, but mods that completely change the game have been and will be made and monetized, and that's not so bad. Counterstrike, DOTA, Team Fortress and more started off as mods and grew into massive franchises from there, which really baffles me because Valve employees were instrumental in two of those and yet they still found a way to fuck this whole thing up. Maybe the guys who make these game changing Skyrim side campaigns with hours upon hours of content deserve a small amount of compensation for their time and effort crafting masterful free DLC, I don't know, it's all really messy right now.
I do know one thing, the Steam Workshop aint no app store, and hopefully it'll stay that way.
That's my two cents, gonna go buy $20 worth of silly coloured hats in Team Fortress and probably join a conga line.
