But isn't by that logic every incarnation of DragonBall officially canon? That would include the debated GT.
But if a multiverse theory is in place and it is canon that the show has multiple continuities there should be no point in anyone arguing is GT canon or not. It might not be canon with the main franchise but with the multiverse clause, it could just be "Earth #2356". Kind of like how the Trunks storyline is all kinds of fucked up.
