Movie trailers do that as well.
They try to spoil just enough so that you'll watch it because they've shown you just enough to give you unanswered questions and same with that, it's spoiling you so you can be like "HOLY HELL HOW DID THAT HAPPEN. I GOTTA SEE NEXT WEEK".
It's stupid since you'll most definitely watch it next week, but I guess it's a sure fire way of making you watch it just so you know exactly how what happened, happened.
