Honestly, I listen to everything. I listen to Country becuse that is what I was rised with. I listen to Rock becuse that was what most of the stations around me played where I grew up (their were like 2 country stations, 3 rap, 1 old rock, and like 8 mother and 80's-90's-00's rock stations). I even listen to old stuff becuse that is what my parents liked. What I don't listen to is new Rap, mostly becuse I have no idea what it feels to be a black guy, someone with lots of money, someone who "gets all the bitches," someone that looks down on the rest of the world, or a combo of the four. Old rap (80's to really early 00's) is fine though.
How do I get into music? I do a few things. A. I listen to the radio and find people that sound good. B. I hear about them from friends or this forum. C. I find them by accident. Honestly, I found Skillet by trying to find Hero by Nickleback and I found Queen from two Newgrounds video that used Four Swords Links to sing We are the Champions, and Princes of the Universe and one that had Mario singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Both bands are my favorites after this.
Oh and as an aside note, I can't stand the works of Conway Twitty anymore. Middle school though end of High school, my mom would listen to nothing but him.
