Goddamn Netflix!
The wife and I finally got around to watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in earnest. We started it a year ago (yes I realize it is from 2010, my list is really far behind) and we've been watching one episode a night with dinner for the past week or so, all the way through to about halfway through Part 2's season.
But I had my first real day off in several months this past Friday and we just sat down in front of the T.V. and started marathoning it. We binged the entirety of Part 3 and Part 4 and there it was...two episodes away from the finale.
So we decided sleep was for the week, "who cares if we have to work the next day, right?" and we pushed through to watch the last two episodes.
Lo and behold...there's an entire 5th season...one that Netflix doesn't have! And Netflix is probably going to lose the distribution rights to FMA:B soon because Funimation is about to lose the streaming rights, in May I think; so there's no chance of them getting the last season on streaming any time soon.
I managed to find a copy of the last season online...but it is the original Japanese...with Spanish fan-dubbing. Gah!
I did finally manage to find a streaming version online, but I have to watch it on the computer, instead of in my living room sitting on my nice couch. Stupid Netflix...what the hell am I paying for if you're going to cock tease me like that?!
