How exactly can you say the Zelda series hasn't been the re-using the gameplay for the last 25 years? That's one of the big points of the Zelda games to familiarise your self with the gameplay from the other games. Not only that but it's the story for the Zelda games that changes.

Plus they add a new gameplay element to most of the games that helps differentiate them, like the boat or the train or the cap.
