The more footage that I see of this game, the more I get excited for it. I don't think there's ever really been a game that's emulated a certain art style so perfectly.

Same here, plus this is the first time ANYONE has managed to create something that is not only something new and fresh. But reminds people that it pays tribute to the past but instead of relying on the same old stuff that has been done to death, it does its own thing while it takes pointers from other things.
