I've seen a lot worse Phoenix Wright related doujins, I can tell you that. I get it guys, Phoenix dedicated his life to work out what happened to Miles. He's not gay.
Anyhow. I finished up Case 3 and, just now. Case 4.
Case 3 was a decent case. 2 Investigations, 2 trials. Had a decent twist and some fun characters. A side of me is sad it's not god awful because now it can't live up to the curse of the even numbered third cases that we've seen so far.
Case 4 on the other hand annoyed me. It was only a 1 trial case. I mean, this was okay in Trials and Tribulations where this was due to limitations with the cartridge, this shouldn't be acceptable for this type of game. Plus, it was an Athena case, meaning she barely got any screen time as opposed to the last game where she at least got a full case, instead of just one trial.
Plus, the case was the most Japanese case the game has ever had. I actually had to remember the difference between Soba and Udon noodles to prove who the killer was, and don't get me started on the things you had to prove in regards to noodles, saké and more.
I'm hoping Case 5 isn't the last case before the DLC pops out. Sure, the DLC will give me a 7 case game, but I'd rather have a 6th case that has the gang back together, or gives Athena/Apollo some more screen time. Phoenix is great, and I like having him as the main characters. But it was handled quite well in DD, so it doesn't make sense why this game feels like there is less to show for it so far.
So far though, the game is better than AJ, JFA and AAI. I can say that much for sure.
Coming back to this, someone told Apollo that Trucy is "a real catch" and "I'm talking bride material" in the same sentence.
Oh God, it's happening isn't it?

That twist was beyond stupid in Apollo Justice with really no reasoning as to why these two kids have been kept in the dark and it's too cruel of Phoenix to keep it up.
Oh, and was it Edgey's second game we never got where I've seen a shot of him and Phoenix clinging onto each other in fear while they're screaming? I was looking so forward to seeing that but it must not be from Dual Destinies.
Nope, they still don't know they're brother and sister, and Phoenix does still know this information. I'm still waiting for them to get married, behind Phoenix's back while he's away in Kurain and for Phoenix to come back shocked at the whole situation and confused at what to do next.
Honestly, that entire premise feels like a Seinfeld episode.
I'm not sure what the Phoenix/Edgeworth screaming shot is though. Might've been the anime or from Spirit of Justice. Phoenix doesn't appear in any of the AAI games.
