That worries me even more for the live action movie. I've believed that the plot of it is going to be pretty much the same as the first Ghost in the Shell movie and I don't like that because the movie is just not that great. I would much rather an original story, and the fact that this is coming out at all as a way to promote the new film sounds like confirmation of my suspicion, which is bad because the first movie is really not good compared to anything else in the series. I would rather they put the Ghost in Shell game from the 6th gen consoles on the current ones than re-release the most abysmal thing the series has ever produced.
