That's the thing though. The more current image is a representation of what they were creating at the time of said image's creation while the older image is more of what had been historically created.
I see Space Ghost characters, Scooby Doo and a couple of its clones, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, Elmer Fudd, Pink Panther, The Jetsons, Wacky Racers, He-Man, Johnny Quest, Huckleberry Hound, and a few I don't recognize in all likelihood. Those were not getting new episodes.
The newer image is just their most current published properties at the time of its creation.
Whether or not you like the cartoons that came after your childhood isn't really relevant to the images being a fair representation or not.
