It's truly sad to see people claim they support something and then find someone who they can take their hate or frustration on and focus on that instead of the actual issues that brought about those feelings. Don't boycott things in North America because they are helping people in a different way than you want them to, keep your focus on what caused the problems in the first place. If we do that, we have a much better chance at actually doing something, and that's the point, to do something. Be angry, be vocal, protest peacefully, but make sure you know where to aim all that do so that it makes the most impact. That will make the difference you week, not hating on Starbucks or Uber.
Actually that is a pretty fair point. I get where the Boycott for Uber came in because of the company approached the situation. They've always been under bad PR because of utter stupidity. But it is a fair point. Boycotting Uber and Starbucks isn't going to get people to understand the perception of Muslims.
It's the same as liking a Facebook such as "Save The African Kids". Yo haven't actually helped. The people in countries like Syria aren't going to be helped by you not going to a certain coffee shop.
All that said, Trump is a fuckin' wanker.

It's even worse when I'm supposed to be reading about how a toddler was abducted, even citing the Jamie Bulgar case, but decorating it so that the timer on the 'Crucial Minutes' segment looks fancy when I hover over it is just incredibly tone deaf of the news they are trying to give makes me hate this layout even more.
Chilling.
