I'll go with the Gorons

At first, they may look like the typical "dumb muscle" to some players (specially back on the N64 games), but once you get to know them better, it turns out they are actually the complete opposite. Examples of this include their ability to industrialize ahead of all the other races in Twilight Princess, and some Gorons' roles as archaeologists in Skyward Sword.
