As some of may know, from 2000 - 2007, a Zelda game was released every year. What you may not have noticed is that from 2007 onwards, they adopted a 2 year cycle.
On October 1st, 2007, Phantom Hourglass was released.
On December 7th, 2009, Spirit Tracks was released.
On November 20th, 2011, Skyward Sword was released.
On November 22nd, 2013, A Link Between Worlds was released.
On October 23rd, 2015, Tri Force Heroes was released.
On March 3rd, 2017, Breath of the Wild was released.
