What you may not have noticed is that from 2007 onwards, they adopted a 2 year cycle.I don't think this is trivia, it could just be a coincidence, don't be surprised if 2019 doesn't have a new Zelda Game. But not to worry, there's been submissions like this before:
On October 1st, 2007, Phantom Hourglass was released.
On December 7th, 2009, Spirit Tracks was released.
On November 20th, 2011, Skyward Sword was released.
On November 22nd, 2013, A Link Between Worlds was released.
On October 23rd, 2015, Tri Force Heroes was released.
On March 3rd, 2017, Breath of the Wild was released.
(all text links to the Nintendo.com page of the game, which states the release date. These are the release dates of the US version, however the Japanese release dates follow this two-year release pattern as well).

So I guess it wouldn't hurt to post a submission stating that 2015 is the first year to not have a New Sonic Game following Sonic's Debut in 1991, where just about every year had a new Sonic Game, similar to Mario.
