The opening numbers of the JoJo Diu live-action film didn't turn out to be so gureito daze.
Looking back at it this isn't really a surprise. I mean, not only the pre-release reactions of the Japanese fans were too harsh because of the deviantions regarding the source material, but the movie was released so close to the end of the part 4 anime that the casual crowd didn't really care about it.
Additionally, the movie starting in the middle of the series means that newcomers to said series aren't going to be draw to this movie either, since people jumping straight at this point aren't going to understand what's going on; for them it would be like seeing a random sequence of pure nonsense.
