Ok, well I couldn't see your PMs in your post.

Which is why I told you that in the first place, so that you could know. Besides, I wasn't gonna post my PM on a public post.

Perphas I should have worded things differently in order to make myself clear. Something like "thank you for your response Cosmyk but I already asked CLXcool about it". In fact, I could have mentioned the name of the character on the original message talking about the resolution, so that people can know that, well, I know the character in the picture.

And honestly, the resolution looks fine.  If you know the original image, it's instantly recognizable for fans of the comic strip. 

Fair enough. I didn't that into account.

Not only that, it's very hard to compress what was a very large image into the size required for an avatar on here.  Don't think it's very much of his fault. /me shrugs

I never said it was his fault or anything of the sorts. I was just pointing things out.
