In a way yes, but in a way, it also gives others who will want to do the same thing a heads up on it before it's even implemented anywhere. Imagine if EA started doing this, and then started shutting down other companies than own just because they couldn't get the process down right. I mean EA has proven they don't need much incentive to screw people over, even Amy Hennig isn't immune.
