The problem is, is that it's hard to to figure out which of the four games they could be making. Mario Party's popularity has been dropping like flies, and it's been years since they got over a 70 rating on Metacritic. Sales have also been pretty bad. Mario Party 10 only sold just under 2 million units, and The Top 100 only sold 0.44 million units. Super Paper Mario is in a similar situation having it's sales decline since the Wii. As for Wario, he already has a game coming that's not a Wario Land title so it's very possible announcing one now would lower sales of the game that's coming up. Punch-Out is probably the most likely candidate considering these facts, but I would also think that it's probably the one the majority of people don't want among the four possibles even if they would be happy with it. It's also possible they renewed all of these IP's for the sake of Smash bros connections, and that Next Level Games is working on something else entirely and another team is working on any or all of these games in some respect. Sadly, the renewal of these IP's, and the the fact that Next Level isn't working on the Luigi's Mansion remake may not be connected at all. We just don't have enough information to really tell at this point.
