Hey look at that. Ridley is playable. He's a bit bigger then Charizard but is still the right size to feel menacing. Almost like size doesn't matter when it comes to Smash Bros. Really this is what I wanted from this announcement. It kinda makes up for the fact that Pichu is playable again.
The entire presentation feels like Nintendo was listening to the fans. A female Pokemon Trainer, Falco not using the Landmaster, using Ganondorf's OoT design. The only thing that I can see upsetting people right now is starting out with the N64 cast and the need to unlock characters one by one. I like it because it feels like progress, but I know that tournament players are going to hate it since they have to unlock ALL OF THEM before they can play. I really want to see how it plays compared to Smash for.
