Enter the Gungeon makes tons of references to other games so I wanted to dedicate a thread to them
Weapon name - Casey
Casey is a melee weapon, specifically a baseball bat. There are several things Casey can be a reference to:
Casey at the Bat (a poem written in 1888. I actually have a book of poems from 1946, iirc, that has this poem printed in it, stashed away)
Casey, Ness's most powerful weapon in Earthbound (most likely to be a reference if only one is made)
Casey Jones, a character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, uses hockey sticks, baseball bats, and other sports equipment as weapons
