I spent many years in an orchestra (and would still like to be in one but I had to leave my violin in Europe)

HIGH FIVE FOR ORCHESTRA GEEKS! I'mma cello player myself. Well technically I haven't played the cello for a few years and have actually forgotten a lot of the finger positions (AND I HATE MYSELF FOR IT).

Awwwwwww yes, string section represent !
Though you cellists have never had to sit right in bloody front of the woodwind and the piccolo. Never was there such an effective incentive to leave the back row of the 2nd violins

Because what's life without little niggles?

All I see is niggles, and all I can think of now is "What the f!@k is a niggle?"

A niggle is just a little thing that annoys you - like the buzzing of a mosquito, or how your roommate always puts the forks in the spoon section.

To that I say, try carrying a bass.
