The decal for the Famicom R.O.B. reads "Family Computer Robot," while the decal for the NES R.O.B. reads Robotic Operating Buddy.

The blue outfit for R.O.B. is based off of his cameo as Nav-Com in Star-Tropics for the NES.
His purple outfit is based of of the North American SNES, but I'm sure that's obvious so I won't be submitting that as trivia unless the mods say otherwise.
This one is REALLY a stretch, but his yellow outfit is based off of the Spike enemy from Stack-Up. Is that acceptable?
EDIT: I'll just add the Japanese and North American color schemes as well...
Japansese version of ROB, known as the Family Family Computer Robot, released for the Famicom

This was also the case in Smash 4 in regards to ROB's Palette Swaps, so this I think more so would be Series Trivia then Brawl Trivia due to applying to one game:
This may also apply to Ultimate, but we won't quite know for certain till ROB's Palette Swap options for that game have been showcased.
