Detective Pikachu will be coming to the Switch, with not only a proper ending (as the game didn't finish explaining a theory that the movie confirmed) but one that differs from both the original outing, and the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBeEyYupWEM
Other things from the Pokemon conference include Pokemon Home: https://gematsu.com/2019/05/pokemon-home...martphones
Which allows users to transfer anything from the Pokemon Bank, Pokemon Go, Pokemon Let's Go, and Sword and Shield into the app which will be on Smartphones and the Switch, which means any shines you collected from Pokemon that ended up in any of these locations, as well as other rares, or even Pokemon you are simply attached to, can be traded from place to place, and can be used to make trades with others.
Pokemon Sleep was also announced along with Pokemon Go + Plus: https://gematsu.com/2019/05/pokemon-slee...martphones
This rather weird idea seeks to turn sleep into entertainment by somehow connecting it with Pokemon Go, and giving you rewards. The Pokemon Go + Plus device is similar to the Pokemon Go Plus that already exists, as it does all the same things as that device, but also helps benefit you while sleeping. The idea is strange and has already created memes, but the idea is promote healthy sleeping habits, so it's hard to say it's all bad, regardless of how effective it ends up being.
Finally, Pokemon Masters was announced for Smartphones and looks to release this calendar year: https://gematsu.com/2019/05/dena-develop...martphones
The game is likely going to be pretty simple, as it's developed by the same team who made Magikarp Jump, which is one of few free to play mobile games that had an ending, and yes, it's as simple as it sounds. However the idea of fighting all the most iconic trainers in Pokemon game history from Gym Leaders to the Elite 4's to Red, sounds good to me. Hopefully we'll see more about it soon.
