Several gaming news outlets (including VGC, Eurogamer, Gematsu, Venturebeat and Kotaku) are corroborating a report of Nintendo's plans for Mario's 35th Anniversary.

Several Mario projects are stated to be releasing this year. Including:

• Remastered versions of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy. 
  * Will likely be a part of a collection a la Super Mario All-Stars.
  
• A Deluxe port of Super Mario 3D World.
  * Featuring brand new levels.
  
• A new Paper Mario game.
  * Stated to be a "return to form" and be closer in style to the original two games.
  

Reportedly, this information (as well as info on Super Nintendo World and the Super Mario movie) was going to be shared at E3 in June. (Nintendo's presence at the convention was stated to be themed around Mario's 35th anniversary and these projects.)

Now that E3 has been canceled, Nintendo is currently exploring different methods to share this information. Reports state they will likely hold a digital event during the same time frame.

UPDATE: Venturebeat originally listed Galaxy 2 as being remastered as well but has since issued a correction: 
"I originally wrote that the 3D Mario collection would include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I changed that to drop Galaxy 2. If that’s happening, I cannot confirm it."
